WIA-EDU-015 defines a comprehensive standard for educational metaverse platforms, enabling institutions worldwide to create immersive 3D learning environments that transcend physical boundaries.

### What is the Educational Metaverse?

The educational metaverse is a persistent, shared 3D virtual environment designed specifically for learning. It combines:
